Cold
Its cold out there brr brr!! The ground is covered in snow and people are huddled together indoors to keep warm. The transport system is almost at a standstill and many drivers are stranded in their vehicles on motorways. In the Western World we are not able to cope with low temperatures and snow unlike our fellow citizens in the East. The forecasters tell us the weather as described could be difficult for another month, oh!! mercy me.
Any way we must get on with life the best way we can. Keep smiling.

Christmas Joy
Christmas is truly a time of joy. Families get together to celebrate the feast of Christmas. People exchange presents and we eat loads. Let us remember the less fortunate in our society who will have very little joy, no presents to exchange and nobody to care for them.

Joy
The joy of Christmas is upon us and celebrations are a nightly event. Sometimes this over exuberance of careless joy can bring misery to others. So keep a balance between celebrating and respect for yourself and other people. Thoroughly celebrate but in moderation, enjoy. Happy Christmas to one and all.

End
Some people say the end is near. Other people say that the only degree of certainty is the end. Should we be afraid of the end? I think not. The end is signification of our mortality. When the end comes I believe our soul moves into a new dimension to be welcomed by our creator. So let us live good lives aligned according to the international principles of the good life, freedom and common understanding.

Buying
How many of us buy on impulse? Do we really consider how the likely purchase will transform our lives? Are we buying to satisfy some deeply embedded desire? For some other people buying is the means to survival. Which ever way buying will change our lives is some shape or form.

Management
When we talk about management do we mean managing ourselves or other people? Management and its importance will vary from person to person. It is best to learn the principles of good management which will transform the path we walk on in life.

Lonely
When we feel lonely it like as if we psychologically feel abandoned. This can be the result of the loss of a loved one, redundancy, relationship problems etc, or some other catastrophic crises. Feeling lonely is a normal experience only in the short term. Should the experience extend to longer periods of time then we need help. The first point of contact to talk about the problem should be a friend or a trusted family member. Once the problem is talked about it generally solves itself. If the problem is deeply enbedded then professional help is required. A visit to your Doctor for a chat is worthwile where a referral can be made to agencies specialising in problem resolution.

Industrial Relations
The relationship between the employee, employer and the Organisation is generally governed by the process of Industrial Relations (IR). This relationship is subject to many Labour Laws. The IR Laws will be different from Country to Country. In times of dispute the resolution procedure will be invoked and the Framework of Understanding used is usually called Pluralism. To enhance the process many countries have a series of collective agreements agreed between the parties and National Understandings.

Health
You health is your wealth so to speak. Without good health the value of our labour is in doubt. The following are all factors of good health, diet, a stress free environment, happiness, rest, love etc.
When we feel healthy the World is our oyster.

Budget Day-Ireland
When will the Minister of Finance in Ireland realise that squeezing the humble citizens of the country by demanding that they pay more taxes stop. I believe that we are facing major social upheaval leading to lawful rebellion. Our country requires honesty, transparency and accountability in all matters of State.

Work
Work is a means to an end. The end gives us quality of life and work provides us with payment for the value we place on our labour. There is a balance which must be maintained between the value of our labour and the market prevailing rate. Some employers will try to employ and pay below the market rate. Other employers will try to extract more labour and still only pay the market rate. Which ever way let us not be slaves to work.

Experience
Experience comes from all of the trials and tribulations of life. Age is also a factor as the saying goes the older we are the wiser we are. Is all experience beneficial to our outlook on life? Many of us have been tormented by what life throws up at us and all of the horrors associated with it. Experience varies according to what social strata in society we come from and educational experience. Remember that there are many high and lows when we talk about experience. Let experience be an educator and lead us to fulfillment and contentment in life.

Goals
Goal setting is the in thing today. We are advised to map out what we want to achieve in the short, medium and long term. In order to achieve any goal we must have a positive mental attitude otherwise goals will never be achieved. The other thing to be aware of are people who will knock us when we try to better ourselves. How many times have we heard people say who do you think you are. Its like as if we are being told to stay in our box. This mythical box is the process of socialisation we have been born into. So lets break free.

Snow
The snow is gently covering the ground with a white blanket. Long gone are the elements of Autumn. Winter is stamping its authority and we struggle to cope with its hearkening. Remember the snow will come and go. Likewise, we too must cast out all the past difficulties and failures. Look forward to a new covering or beginning just like the snow.
